Genre-defying singers/songwriters and artists Ugly Worldwide and Robot MoonJuice, aka New York’s resident club kid duo skuzland, have announced their debut EP OTW, set for release on September 18 via Republic Records.
Comprising seven tracks, OTW was written entirely by Jazzelle (Ugly Worldwide) and Robot with executive production by Zach Fogarty, whose credits include A$AP Rocky, Vince Staples and Fousheé. The EP is a statement of delightful chaos, political fury and messy desires, proving skuzland’s creative prowess—in and out of the studio—right out of the gate.
“The journey of creating OTW was an inward one,” says Jazzelle. “Throughout the process, I’ve learned so much about myself and grown in ways I couldn’t have previously imagined. Making music is entirely new to me, yet it has flown out of me like I’ve always known it. And therein lies the beauty. I hope this project inspires people to be unafraid of vulnerability. It’s the key to unlocking parts of yourself you never knew existed.”

Out today is the latest rip-roaring single “GiRL AMERiCA.” Written by Jazzelle and Robot following the overturning of Roe v Wade, in which states began enforcing abortion bans, “GiRL AMERiCA” is a portrait of skuzland’s unbridled rage toward the current political landscape. As anxious as the track is, Jazzelle and Robot scream-sing each line in an act of catharsis, harking back to the punk and Riot Grrrl era of music as a form of political resistance. Each chorus swells with defiance: “Take my rights and roll the dice / Teach em that / I ain’t nothing nice / Gonna put up a fight”
“‘GiRL AMERiCA’ is the boiling point of being fed the fuck up,” says skuzland. “Our bodily autonomy? Challenged. Our safety? Challenged. Our rights? Challenged. Around every corner, there is a new battle to face. Fear is a thing of the past. Rage is all that’s left.”

“STEREO,” the first single from OTW, was released last month. Altogether rollicking and atmospheric, “STEREO” arrived with a fever dream-like music video directed by Luis Villanueva (Noah Cyrus, Saint Levant). Earlier this summer, skuzland continued bolstering their roots internationally, from performing their first-ever festival show at Mighty Hoopla in London to making showstopping appearances at Paris Men’s Fashion Week. With their long-awaited debut project OTW, skuzland is ready to show that they aren’t just ones to watch; they’re it.

ABOUT SKUZLAND
Before skuzland was a chameleonic NYC-based duo kicking down the doors between music, fashion, and performance art, it started with a chance encounter between two club kids—Ugly Worldwide (Jazzelle Zanaughtti) and Robot MoonJuice (Jean Carlos Pina)—who both craved the freedom to be themselves. Jazzelle, a mainstay in the fashion world thanks to her unique style, aesthetic and boundary-pushing makeup, and Robot, a director, creative director and performer known for his energetic and flamboyant style, became fast friends; soon skuzland was born.
Founded on the ideal that all are welcome, skuzland is as much of a band as it is an imaginary homeland for outsiders and fellow scum of the earth. Jazzelle and Robot forge the road to this universe on their first EP, OTW, a rage-fueled, anti-genre revolt packed with turbocharged hooks. Like a road trip that doesn’t stick to a set route, OTW sees skuzlandweaving between a mutant mix of pop, punk, riot grrl and electronic influences with production helmed by Zach Fogarty(A$AP Rocky). It’s a delightfully chaotic manifestation of their political fury, messy desires and traumas—except instead of being haunted by their pasts, they find power in being the “monster under the bed.” Yet underneath the apocalyptic imagery of cockroaches and the slashing of guitars, OTW is, at its core, a portrait of two best friends.
Since the world didn’t make space for them, Jazzelle and Robot took it upon themselves to create their own fantastical, anarchic vision of reality through skuzland—and now they want to invite others into the fold. “I hope people find some sense of belonging, some form of comfort and home with this project,” he continues. “...or at least some form of getting there.”
OTW will be released on September 18, 2026 via Republic Records.
Skuzland feel convincing because fashion is not treated as decoration around the music. Their club-kid identity, punk disruption and exaggerated visual language appear to be part of the same world as the EP itself.
