Accelerating his prominence in 2026, Platinum-certified Atlanta producer, “plugg” pioneer, and rapper MexikoDro delivers a head-nodding new single and music video entitled “Mail” out now.
Skittering cymbals maintain the track’s slick tempo as beeps chirp and off-kilter keys echo beneath his laidback delivery. On “Mail,” MexikoDro reflects on growth, stability, and the pride he now takes in his everyday routine. “Workin’ on myself every day like a WIP,” he raps, embracing self-improvement and the peace he’s found in handling his responsibilities. Once running from chaos, he now revels in life’s simple luxuries like owning his home, checking for his mail, and moving through the world on his own terms. Even in his most grounded moments, MexikoDro’s distinct style, effortless cool, and unfiltered personality remain front and center throughout the accompanying visual.
It lands in the wake of “Knuckle,” which Billboard hailed as one of its “R&B/Hip-Hop Fresh Picks of the Week,” praising MexikoDro’s “calm slickness over throwback beats that still manage to sound futuristic.” REMIXD MAGAZINE added that he “continues to make bangers” amid rising demand. Earlier this year, he also served up the buzzing “Loser,” which earned support from VIBE, and landed on Pitchfork’s coveted “Selects” playlist.
In January, he released the music video for “Hire,” a fan favorite from his acclaimed 2025 project, Still Goin The EP, available now. The project further affirmed MexikoDro as a proven force. Pitchfork rated the EP a 7.5, highlighted “No Date” among “The 40 Best Rap Songs of 2025” and “The 100 Best Songs of 2025,” and praised the track as “an ode to being stable.” Paste named Still Goin one of “The 15 Best EPs of 2025,” writing, “‘No Date’ is one of the best rap tracks of the year.” The FADER also spotlighted “b” among “The Best Rap Songs of November 2025,” while Rolling Stone praised his ability to channel the spirit of classic Atlanta rap through his own grounded perspective.
MexikoDro has already surged throughout the culture as an influential producer, crafting tracks for everyone from Drake andPlayboi Carti to Kodak Black. Along the way, he quietly unveiled his solo music, introducing another side of his artistry. This March, he reached critical mass with the rapidly rising “No Date,” which has amassed nearly 13 million Spotify streams and climbed into the Top 10 of the US Shazam Chart. Lil Yachty shared a video of himself rapping along to the song, while Spotify added it to playlists including “Most Necessary,” “No Cap,” “Out The Mud,” and “Fresh Finds: Hip Hop.”

ABOUT MEXIKODRO:
Whether he’s making beats for A-list talent, making his own raps, or proudly making sandwiches in his spare time, MexikoDro is always real, first and foremost. The Platinum-certified producer and powerhouse rapper gives the world exactly what he’s thinking and feeling without filter on each and every song. Growing up in the hip-hop hotbed of Atlanta, it’s no surprise he fell in love with music at a young age. Barely 10-years-old, a downloaded copy of FL Studio changed his life. He crafted beats and uploaded them to YouTube. Slowly, but surely, he cemented himself at the forefront of the “plugg”movement, landing a series of early placements for Diego Money, Project Pat, and Lil Yachty. He went on to cook up the Platinum-certified “Gassed Up” for Nebu Kiniza followed by “From Florida With Love” for Drake, “Plug” for Rich The Kid, and “Broke Boi” for Playboi Carti, to name a few. Simultaneously, he stepped into the spotlight with solo music. He popped off with “Losses,” reeling in over 1.1 million Spotify streams. Following De Mayo and the QUATRO EP, he reached critical mass with “No Date” during 2025. It eclipsed 7 million Spotify streams, cracked the Top 10 of the US Shazam Chart, and received co-signs courtesy of Lil Uzi Vert and Latto, among others. In its wake, he inked a deal with Republic Records. Outside of music, he has distinguished himself as a Renaissance man who loves spending time with his dogs, chopping down trees, working out, and cooking various specialty dishes. Now, you’ll hear his truth loud and clear on Still Goin The EP and more new music to come in 2026.
