On his debut album, the 24-year-old vocal phenom delivers his most personal work to date. Camylio reflects, “I’ve come a long way from the kid singing covers on social media in front of a black backdrop and Amazon lights in 2021. All of those moments contributed to what my music has become though. It’s taken me years, but I found where I want to go and the direction I want to live in.” He continues, “When you listen to take my bones, I hope you get to know me. At the same time, these songs belong to everyone else now. Maybe, you’ll think about your life, your relationship, your parents, or your friends. I want you to see yourself in the songs.” A self-taught guitarist since he was eight-years-old, Camylio channeled a range of formative influences across the project, drawing from artists like Kaleo, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hozier, and John Mayer, as he shaped the album’s sonic identity. New single “how far down” offers a compelling preview of what’s to come on take my bones, following recent singles “fall into you” and “psycho.” Driven by an infectious upbeat bounce and distorted power chords, the track captures a push-and-pull between fear and surrender, with Camylio singing on the hook, “I wanna see how far down we go.” Speaking on the song, he shares, “It’s desperate, but it’s also full of gratitude. The fear is there. If a certain person walks out of your life, it could throw you for a loop. However, you willingly allow yourself to give in and see how far down you can go.” With nearly 500 million career streams and over 5 million followers across his social platforms, Camylio has cemented himself as an artist, songwriter, and producer to watch. take my bones sets the stage for his powerful and deeply personal next chapter. take my bones TRACKLIST:
